Yumcha is a one-of-a-kind installation aiming to set a new record as the world’s largest teapot.. With the consumption of tea often considered a social past-time and Hong Kong consuming more than 900 million cups of tea a year, Yumcha asks us to re-think the ceremony of drinking tea. Connecting people and cultures within an ephemeral striking space that functions as a host for interaction and relaxation – and draws on the traditions of social interaction, idea exchange and communal well-being found in teahouses – immerse yourself in Yumcha.
