Mass bleaching due to rising sea temperatures is vanishing our reefs – with the Great Barrier Reef alone experiencing an 89% decrease in new coral. Celebrating the natural forms of reefs and bringing awareness to their ongoing global extinction, PHENOMENA is an interactive installation at New York Design Week. Users will engage in a multi-sensory experience: sitting within coves, lying beneath illuminated structures, and being immersed in an abstracted reef.
